MARSTRAND, SWEDEN-(7-6-2003) The second day’s racing was held in light winds of 8 knots. Just before the scheduled start the wind shifted, causing a postponement followed by a general recall, and finally the start was given under black flag.
After the wind decreased further, the course had to be shortened for the race to conclude within the time-limit.
Winner of today’s race was Viali Nenad, Croatia. Waclaw Szukiel from Poland came in second and Emilios Papathanasiou, Greece, finished third.
Preliminary results after three races have Ben Ainslie, Great Britain, in the lead, followed by Mateusz Kusznier from Poland and Sebastien Godefroid, Belgium.
